Role Overview
As a Client Services Executive for the ANZ region, you will manage the complete sales lifecycle of Teradata Services, concentrating on helping clients derive measurable value from their data and analytics investments. Your responsibilities will include identifying, qualifying, and closing significant service opportunities spanning Consulting, Managed Services, Transaction Services, and Cloud embedding services within broader account strategies and long-term customer roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives to position services as integral to cloud modernization, cost efficiency, and analytics-driven transformation.
- Achieve consistent sales targets, maintain accurate forecasts, and build trusted relationships with both executive and operational clients.
- Lead pricing strategy development, manage internal approvals, and negotiate commercial terms ensuring competitive, feasible solutions.
- Oversee pre-sales and proof-of-concept activities, defining clear scopes aligned with customer outcomes and ensuring smooth transitions to delivery teams.
- Maintain diligent Salesforce data hygiene, develop a sustainable service pipeline, and contribute market insights to shaping go-to-market strategies.
Collaborations
- Partner with Account Executives on account planning, strategy, pricing, proposals, client communications, QBRs, and managing escalations.
- Work with AI Sales Teams to design AI-driven service engagements aligned with business priorities.
- Engage Customer Solution Architects for solution design, architecture, and presales support.
- Coordinate with Project and Services Delivery leadership to ensure readiness, clear handover, and effective execution.
- Collaborate with Services Presales and Centres of Excellence on scope estimation, offer definition, and services positioning enhancements.
- Engage with Deal Desk and Legal teams on approvals, contract drafting, pricing governance, and negotiations.
- Work with Finance for forecasting, billing, and revenue recognition processes.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated experience selling complex technology or professional services to enterprise customers in Australia or New Zealand.
- Strong commercial skills in pricing, deal structuring, and contract negotiations.
- Proven ability to manage a predictable services pipeline and maintain accurate Salesforce forecasting.
- Comfortable engaging senior stakeholders and navigating consensus-based procurement processes.
- Adept at working within a matrixed, regional organizational structure.
Required Capabilities
- Deep understanding of services-led value propositions and positioning within enterprise account frameworks.
- Experience collaborating with Global Systems Integrators or local delivery partners in joint sales and delivery models.
- Customer-centric approach focusing on long-term retention and business expansion.
- Skill in translating complex client requirements into outcome-oriented service solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills tailored for the ANZ market.
