About the Role and Company
We are looking for a Community & Events Associate based in London, focused on managing and growing our legal tech community. This role requires regular presence in London for events and material collection from our Farringdon hub, but also offers flexibility to work from home. The salary is benchmarked at £40,000 plus bonus and equity for a UK-based IC3 level candidate.
Our goal is to become the leading platform for contract agreement and management globally, with a strong emphasis on leveraging AI to automate legal tasks. Our community consists of over 1,500 in-house legal leaders, with a wide range of events including large trade shows, webinars, and intimate meet-ups.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute smaller Juro community events from start to finish.
- Support the Community & Events Lead in managing the Scaleup GC Slack community.
- Increase monthly active membership within the community.
- Ensure smooth operation of community and Juro-hosted events.
- Drive engagement that translates into qualified sales pipeline leads and Juro advocates.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Experience organizing both in-person and virtual events.
- Proven track record of actively growing or building a community or audience, not just maintaining it.
- Experience hosting small meetups and establishing relationships with customers and prospects.
- Collaborated closely with sales teams or SDRs to pursue leads.
- Accountability for and tracking of conversion metrics related to events and community engagement.
- Enjoyment and aptitude for driving a sales pipeline, focusing on measurable lead generation.
- Comfort with AI tools to enhance productivity, as this role is heavily AI-augmented.
Who We Are Looking For
- Applicants must be located within easy commute distance to London and have long-term UK work rights.
- Applicants who do not meet every qualification but have strong potential are encouraged to apply.
- Those comfortable with hands-on logistics, less structured work environments, and managing pipeline targets.
Additional Information
- Interview consists of three stages totaling about three hours over two to three weeks.
- Immediate start date preferred.
- Reporting to the Community & Events Lead.
- We promote diversity, inclusion, and belonging in our workplace culture.
Our Mission
