Construction Manager - Electrical

Role Overview

The Electrical Construction Manager will take charge of all on-site electrical construction work for Extra High Voltage substations rated at 220 kV and 400 kV. This is a senior leadership position for an experienced professional who can coordinate complex technical activities, uphold safety and quality expectations, and keep delivery aligned with project schedules and cost targets.

The role calls for extensive hands-on experience in EHV substation execution, ideally gained in EPC, transmission utility, or large infrastructure settings. The selected candidate should be confident leading multidisciplinary teams and operating effectively in a demanding project environment.

Core Responsibilities

• Direct and manage electrical construction activities at site for 220 kV and 400 kV EHV substation projects.
• Oversee execution planning, day-to-day supervision, and coordination of site teams and contractors.
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with approved safety procedures, quality requirements, and project specifications.
• Support testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning-related activities for electrical systems.
• Track progress and help deliver the project within the agreed timeline and budget.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, status updates, and progress reports.

Experience Expectations

The role requires more than 15 years of proven experience in EHV substation construction, with preference for candidates who have worked in EPC, transmission utility, or large-scale infrastructure projects.

This position is suited to a senior professional with strong technical depth, leadership ability, and the confidence to manage multiple disciplines on a fast-paced project site.
