Role Overview
This position at Broward College is responsible for overseeing compliance with clinical education requirements for radiography students and faculty, coordinating related documentation, and ensuring adherence to federal, state, and accreditation regulations. The Coordinator liaises with clinical partners, college staff, and students to maintain smooth operations of clinical programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide instruction in laboratory, clinical, or lecture classes as assigned by the Associate Dean.
- Manage and verify clinical and lab education documentation, including health screenings, immunizations, certifications, background checks, and compliance records.
- Collaborate with stakeholders weekly to ensure compliance with clinical requirements for faculty and students.
- Support operational activities for Health Science programs, assist visitors and students, and serve as liaison to clinical education centers.
- Schedule clinical affiliate visits and seek new clinical education locations.
- Offer academic advising and guidance to current and prospective students and assist with their enrollment processes.
- Coordinate communication and partnerships with counseling, registration, advisory committees, external agencies, and other educational institutions.
- Maintain accurate student records, course materials, and related program documentation.
- Assist with academic planning, scheduling, registration, and administrative tasks alongside supervisors.
- Help manage clinical facilities operations as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
- Current American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) certification and registration in radiography.
- Minimum six years of clinical or related experience demonstrating increasing responsibility and familiarity with clinical management.
Skills and Abilities

- Expertise in instructional methods, supervision, and evaluation.
- Ability to manage complex project plans and coordinate multiple resources effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for interaction with employees, students, and clinical partners.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and specialized administrative computer systems.

- Salary range: $52,900 - $62,158, based on education and experience.

Work Schedule and Location
This is a full-time position located at Broward College’s Central Campus in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Work hours are 40 per week, primarily first shift, Monday through Friday with possible weekends and variable schedule.
