Job Overview

Listers Group is expanding and seeking a dedicated Vehicle Technician for their CUPRA dealership in Worcester. The work schedule includes Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 17:30, along with Saturday shifts on a rotational basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform servicing, repairs, and diagnostic tasks on all workshop vehicles, maintaining high-quality standards.
• Handle electrical and mechanical repairs including suspension, steering, brakes, wheel bearings, driveshafts, exhaust systems, and air conditioning servicing.
• Work on electric and hybrid vehicle maintenance and repairs, using diagnostic equipment with focus on batteries, drive motors, auxiliary drive packs, and control systems.
• Fit manufacturer-approved accessories and audio equipment.
• Understand and uphold customer satisfaction principles and their influence on business success.
• Operate additional systems such as video reporting tools like CitNOW.
• Complete service documentation compliant with manufacturer and brand standards.
• Collaborate closely with workshop colleagues for mutual learning and knowledge sharing.

Candidate Profile

• Open to applicants with experience in various automotive roles including Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, HGV Mechanic, Auto Electrician, MOT Tester, or those progressing through apprenticeship.
• Experience in different settings, from independent garages to main dealerships, is welcome.
• Mandatory possession or progression towards NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Electric and Hybrid vehicle certifications advantageous but training is provided if not held.
• MOT licensure is a plus but not required.
• Must have a legitimate full UK driving license.
• Demonstrate strong mechanical and electrical proficiency and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
