Role Overview
This position is responsible for analyzing quality-related data, trends, and insights to produce business reports and analytics aimed at internal teams or customers for enhanced product understanding. The role involves gathering, tracking, and analyzing management review metrics and product performance data. Collaboration with internal stakeholders ensures specific data requirements are met effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead or guide projects involving product performance data by defining organizational requirements, utilizing available technologies and tools to achieve completion.
- Perform detailed analysis of customer complaints, post-marketing surveillance data, and events to identify patterns, trends, and signals; undertake investigations when necessary.
- Engage with internal clients and cross-functional teams to develop, sustain, and refine criteria for product complaint trending.
- Use data visualization and analysis to underscore important organizational trends and collaborate with business units to identify insights, opportunities, and solutions that illustrate business value.
- Participate in routine audits and analyses to verify accuracy, optimize systems and reporting, and explore new analytical opportunities.
- Collect and monitor data, delivering analysis through ongoing reports, custom analyses, and partnerships to impart insights and ensure business-wide comprehension.
- Recommend improvements to system functionality and reporting processes.
- Exhibit advanced proficiency in Excel, strong problem-solving skills, project management, tracking abilities, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Maintain a strong commitment to patient safety and product quality by adhering strictly to Quality Policies and documented procedures.
- Serve as a mentor and resource for less experienced colleagues.
- Lead projects characterized by manageable risks and resource needs, often with a cross-functional scope.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in data analytics, reporting, and problem solving within a technical environment.
- Experience in partnering and consulting with leading programs, including program management.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
- Proven problem-solving, critical thinking, and data analysis capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in the Medical Device industry.
- Experience working with Medical Device Quality data, such as complaints and product trending.
- Academic credentials in Data Analysis, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Project Management experience.
- Familiarity with tools including PowerBI and SQL.
