About the Role
Galapagos Federal Systems, LLC seeks a motivated Data Analyst to join their team at Patrick Space Force Base, Florida, supporting the Space Training and Readiness Command (STARCOM). This opportunity involves performing data analysis, creating reports, and visualizations to enhance operational performance and contribute to mission objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance and maintain workforce analytics capabilities for STARCOM to deliver timely and actionable insights aiding strategic decisions.
- Examine workforce, operational, and organizational datasets to detect patterns, evaluate performance, and assist with planning.
- Create, update, and improve executive reports, dashboards, and visualizations utilizing data from diverse enterprise systems.
- Develop automated reporting systems, databases, and analytic tools to boost data accessibility and workflow efficiency.
- Identify workforce trends, recruitment metrics, readiness indicators, and organizational performance measures to guide leadership.
- Work closely with government stakeholders to gather requirements and produce analytical and reporting solutions.
- Respond promptly to leadership requests by delivering precise reports, dashboards, and data analytics products.
- Ensure data quality by validating, integrating, cleansing, and standardizing data from multiple sources.
- Recommend improvements to reporting processes to increase productivity.
- Prepare presentations and visual materials that clearly communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Build predictive models and perform trend analyses supporting workforce planning, forecasting, and decision-making.
Required Experience and Skills
- Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance.
- Minimum five years supporting Department of Defense organizations in data analytics, business intelligence, or workforce analytics.
- Proven expertise in collecting, cleaning, validating, and analyzing large datasets from varied enterprise systems.
- Experience with executive dashboard and report generation using tools like Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps, or Excel.
- Skill in analyzing business workflows, workforce metrics, and operations to produce actionable recommendations.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and create analytical solutions.
- Knowledge in implementing predictive analytics, forecasting, and trend studies for strategic planning.
- Strong grasp of data governance, quality assurance, and validation best practices.
- Capacity to work autonomously with multiple priorities in a dynamic, mission-focused setting.
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS) in any field. Equivalent professional experience may be considered instead of formal education.
