Overview
Domino's is hiring delivery drivers for its 993 2nd Ave. East location in Oneonta, Alabama. The role is designed for people who want flexible hours, whether they are balancing school, spending time with friends, or looking for a second source of income. In addition to delivering orders safely, this position may also involve in-store customer service and support tasks.
What you'll do
- Welcome customers warmly and take orders in a friendly, professional manner, including over the phone.
- Handle payments using the cash register and collect customer payments accurately.
- Prepare food items quickly and consistently while following portioning rules, recipes, and baking procedures.
- Transport orders from the store to customers safely and courteously using a vehicle.
- Keep the restaurant clean and presentable, from the customer-facing areas to the back of the store.
- Follow grooming and appearance standards required by Domino's.
- Take on other tasks as needed.
What we're looking for
Domino's can train candidates on phone handling and pizza preparation, but successful drivers should already bring strong driving and customer-facing basics. A clean driving record, a reliable insured vehicle, and a valid driver's license are required. The company also needs applicants who are friendly, comfortable speaking with strangers, punctual, cooperative, and able to work well with a team.
Schedule and work expectations
The store operates 363 days each year, including weekends and holidays, which are among the busiest times. The schedule is flexible, but candidates must be willing to work when the team needs coverage.
