Position Overview
We are searching for a skilled and visionary IT Director to oversee all facets of information technology throughout the organization. This key leadership role entails hands-on management of enterprise infrastructure and business applications, with a strategic focus on aligning technology investments with VION's expansion goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership in managing enterprise application systems, including SAP.
- Oversee the corporate application portfolio and IT infrastructure operations.
- Manage vendor and third-party technology relationships effectively.
- Lead integration efforts related to mergers and acquisitions.
- Ensure cybersecurity measures and compliance standards are upheld.
- Direct projects and programs from inception through execution.
- Build and mentor a high-performing IT team fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
- Partner with business leaders to translate needs into scalable technology solutions and optimize processes.
- Align technology initiatives with operational priorities and strategic growth plans.
Candidate Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience leading enterprise application projects with governance, prioritization, and resource management.
- Strong background in team leadership including coaching, performance management, and professional development.
- Ability to advise business leaders on technology capabilities and innovation opportunities.
- Proficient in driving digital innovation, automation, and process enhancement.
Location, Travel, and Physical Requirements
The role involves a hybrid work arrangement with some on-site presence required. Travel comprises approximately 25 to 35 percent, including domestic and international visits to VION facilities. Candidates must be able to travel by air and ground transportation and perform occasional walking or standing on-site. Some exposure to laboratory or manufacturing environments is expected, necessitating compliance with safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment.
