Role Overview

As a Dispenser within one of our UK stores, you will play a crucial role supporting pharmacists and healthcare professionals to provide safe, reliable pharmacy and health services. You'll spend your time engaging with patients, understanding their needs, and assisting in dispensing prescriptions and safely selling medicines while offering trusted healthcare advice to empower informed health decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescriptions ensuring medicines are ordered, labeled, dispensed, endorsed, and collected safely.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to support the management and delivery of pharmacy services.
• Offer care and guidance to patients on medicinal products, directing queries to pharmacists when necessary.
• Strictly adhere to Standard Operating Procedures to guarantee safe and lawful prescription dispensing.
• Stay informed and compliant with innovations and operational requirements within the store.
• Assist patients in efficiently managing their prescriptions, including reliable repeat supplies to promote adherence and minimize waste.
• Utilize evolving in-store technologies to enhance dispensing processes, improve safety, and dedicate more time to patient care.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 or equivalent qualification, or completion of the first year of an MPharm degree.
• Valid right to work in the UK; this role does not provide visa sponsorship.

Preferred Experience

• Prior exposure to community pharmacy practice is advantageous.
