Role overview
This full-time, non-management finance and accounting position is based in Doha, Qatar. The role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring proper coding and posting of transactions, and supporting reporting and closing activities for hotel operations.
Key duties
- Verify figures, entries, and documents to make sure they are posted correctly, mathematically accurate, and coded properly.
- Sort, safeguard, and keep all files, records, cash, and cash equivalents in line with company policies and procedures.
- Enter, retrieve, and analyze computerized financial data as needed.
- Maintain precise electronic spreadsheets for accounting and finance information.
- Classify, code, and summarize financial and numerical information using journals, ledgers, and computer systems.
- Compile, maintain, and share statistical, financial, accounting, audit, or payroll reports and tables.
- Carry out end-of-period closing steps and prepare related reports as required.
- Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue invoices, bills, and account statements following company procedures.

- Be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
- Build constructive working relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to coworkers’ concerns.
- Carry out other reasonable duties assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED-equivalent education.
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No license or certification required.
