Role overview
The Department of Children and Families is seeking an Executive Assistant to deliver high-level, confidential administrative support to the Executive Director of Children and Families Programs and the related work units in Darwin, Northern Territory.
Primary purpose
This role is responsible for coordinating day-to-day executive administration, supporting ministerial liaison activities, and ensuring smooth administrative operations across the work area.
Key responsibilities
- Provide discreet and confidential executive-level administrative assistance.
- Support the Executive Director Children and Families Programs with coordination of administrative tasks and workflow.
- Assist the associated work units with general administrative requirements.
- Handle ministerial liaison support activities as required.
- Help maintain effective communication and organisation across the program area.
