Executive - Transaction Services

Role Overview

Join our Transaction Services team as an Executive where you will cultivate strong working relationships with both internal teams and clients, aiming to surpass client expectations. This role involves comprehensive engagement in financial analysis, data validation, and supporting various transaction-related activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Gain in-depth knowledge of the target business and its key value drivers.
• Ensure data accuracy and investigate discrepancies by liaising directly with clients and relevant third parties.
• Conduct detailed financial analyses to draw conclusions and identify critical issues.
• Analyze publicly available information about the target business and prepare high-quality reports using Excel and PowerPoint within agreed deadlines.
• Highlight significant issues encountered during assignments and promptly inform the Manager or Supervisor.
• Participate in diverse transactions including large-scale cross-border deals spanning multiple industry sectors.
• Build credibility with clients and targets as a trusted representative of Deloitte Transaction Services.
• Assist in proposals and contribute to business development initiatives.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of a Graduation or Post-Graduation degree, or professional qualifications such as CA Intermediate, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent, combined with 0 to 1 year of relevant post-qualification experience.
• Strong analytical abilities along with advanced proficiency in MS Excel to handle and interpret large datasets.
• Audit or related articleship experience is a plus.
• Experience or exposure to transaction services will be advantageous.
• Familiarity with Indian GAAP and IFRS is beneficial.
• Well-developed commercial awareness and market insight.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to travel frequently to client sites; base location can be any Deloitte office within India.

Work Environment

This position requires regular travel to client locations. The default working model is hybrid, but this role specifically involves onsite presence.
