Job Overview
We seek a seasoned and proactive Facility Manager to supervise maintenance, safety, security, and operational efficiency across our manufacturing plant and office premises. The selected individual will be responsible for ensuring all facilities are properly maintained, meet statutory regulations, and provide a secure and effective work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee maintenance for the factory, office buildings, and adjoining areas.
- Plan and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment within the facility.
- Guarantee continuous operation of utilities including electrical systems, DG sets, water systems, air compressors, HVAC, and fire safety installations.
- Liaise with external vendors and contractors for services such as maintenance, housekeeping, security, and pest control.
- Supervise Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) to ensure timely completion of services.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, legal requirements, and company policies.
- Regularly inspect facilities to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
- Maintain thorough records related to maintenance activities, utility usage, and vendor performance.
- Prepare and oversee budgets for facility maintenance and manage operational expenditures.
- Promote effective waste disposal and participate in environmental and sustainability programs.
- Collaborate with HR, Administration, Production, and other departments to address facility needs.
- Manage emergency situations promptly to resolve facility issues swiftly.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Extensive knowledge of facility management and building maintenance principles.
- Familiarity with electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and other utility systems.
- Understanding of fire safety standards, statutory regulations, and workplace safety requirements.
- Experience managing vendors and contractors.
- Ability to manage budgets and perform cost control effectively.
- Strong communication, leadership, and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with SAP or ERP systems is beneficial.
