Role Purpose
As a Front Office All Rounder, you will assist guests from their initial inquiries through to check-out, serving as the primary specialist on room availability, pricing, and the variety of memorable offerings our hotel presents. Your role includes promoting appealing room upgrades and delivering excellent hospitality that ensures guests enjoy an unforgettable stay.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle reservation requests through telephone, email, and online channels, providing precise details on room options, rates, and promotions.
- Serve as the initial contact for guests by responding to questions, managing reservation changes, and processing cancellations.
- Assign rooms considering guest preferences, availability, and business needs to guarantee comfortable accommodations.
- Process payment transactions with accuracy and verify billing information securely.
- Recommend room upgrades and special amenities to enhance guest experiences and fulfill specific requests.
- Maintain detailed reservation documentation to track room status and ensure seamless check-in/out procedures.
- Address and resolve guest complaints effectively, turning challenges into positive opportunities.
Qualification Requirements
- Strong customer service orientation coupled with excellent communication capabilities.
- Preferably prior experience in a similar role within the hospitality sector.
- Familiarity with reservation systems and property management software is advantageous, particularly Opera Cloud.
- Effective problem-solving abilities with the capacity to stay composed under pressure.
- A cooperative team player attitude and a willingness to exceed expectations.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts covering mornings, evenings, overnight hours, weekends, and public holidays.
