Overview
Aramark Canada is looking for motivated individuals to join as General Utility Workers in Vermilion, Alberta. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and safe environment by ensuring all dishes, equipment, and work areas are properly cleaned and sanitized. Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, and kitchen utensils to guarantee guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations, including three-compartment sinks and surrounding areas.
- Keep equipment clean and operational, reporting any malfunctions to management promptly.
- Perform light maintenance and custodial duties as required.
- Maintain a positive attitude and deliver excellent customer service to guests, clients, coworkers, and customers.
- Follow Aramark safety procedures, particularly food safety and sanitation protocols.
- Secure company property to prevent loss or damage.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge and understanding of sanitation procedures.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines due to exposure to hazardous cleaning chemicals.
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
- Physical ability to handle demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing or walking for extended periods.
- Willingness to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment as required.
