Role Overview
The Guardianship Liaison is a vital member of the Safeguarding team, tasked with supporting the welfare of students residing in Singapore without parental guardians. This role calls for innovative collaboration to enhance the school experience and ensure all students feel secure, supported, and included. Building strong relationships with various stakeholders is fundamental to the position's success.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements
- Develop and maintain effective, confident communication with students, parents, and school personnel.
- Exhibit strong teamwork skills and establish cooperative relationships across diverse teams.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach and independent work capability.
- Bring experience working with adolescents (preferably ages 12–18) in international or residential school environments.
- Background in boarding, education, counseling, or safeguarding is a distinct advantage.
- Adapt well to fast-paced settings, showing flexibility and resilience.
- Manage sensitive or complex conversations with professionalism and empathy.
- Possess thorough knowledge of child safeguarding principles and best practices.
- Be technologically adept, organized, and attentive to details.
- Understand challenges faced by students living away from their parents.
- Mandarin proficiency is desirable to facilitate communication within the school community.

Educational and Background Credentials
- Holder of at least a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related discipline.
- Preferred professional history includes boarding, education, counseling, or safeguarding experience.
