Job Overview

Tibarumal Gems and Jewels seeks a diligent and experienced DCM Van Driver to manage delivery and transportation tasks involving outstation journeys lasting as long as 26 days consecutively. This role involves operating a commercial vehicle safely and reliably while ensuring adherence to schedules and company policies.

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate the DCM van safely on assigned long-distance routes.
• Transport goods and materials punctually to specified destinations.
• Perform daily checks on the vehicle and promptly report any mechanical issues.
• Keep the vehicle clean and carry out routine maintenance tasks.
• Follow traffic laws strictly and comply with company safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate trip documentation, including fuel receipts, toll bills, and delivery paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding trip progress and delivery status.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods as needed.
• Commit to staying at outstation locations for periods up to 26 days as operationally required.

Candidate Qualifications

• Holder of a valid DCM or commercial driving license.
• At least 2 to 3 years of professional experience driving commercial vehicles.
• Sound understanding of highway routes and road safety rules.
• Physical fitness to endure long-distance trips and extensive travel.
• Ability to work independently and with responsibility.
• Basic literacy skills for maintaining trip records and logs.

Work Schedule

The role requires outstation duty for extended intervals up to 26 continuous days, followed by rest or leave according to company policy.

• Competent defensive driving techniques.
