Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Hostel Warden who is adaptable to the dynamic environment of a day-cum-residential university and supportive in fulfilling the assigned responsibilities effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the allocation of rooms to students efficiently.
• Oversee upkeep and maintenance of hostel facilities.
• Monitor the quality of food provided within hostels.
• Maintain strict discipline among hostel residents.
• Report any cases of indiscipline or misconduct by students to university authorities promptly.
• Address and resolve genuine student grievances and complaints.
• Provide first-aid assistance during emergencies and arrange hospitalization for students or staff as necessary.
• Offer compassionate care, counseling, and uphold high standards of safety and accountability within the hostel.
• Promote the physical, mental, and intellectual growth of hostel residents.
• Ensure the safety and security of all boarders at all times.
• Enforce a ragging-free environment within the hostels.
• Supervise housekeeping and cleanliness of hostel grounds.
• Handle medical, social, and personal emergencies involving students, accompanying them to hospitals when required.
• Carry out additional duties assigned by the Management or Director of Administration.

Qualifications and Experience

• Graduation degree with relevant work experience in reputed educational institutions.
• Experience in a residential university setting is preferred and would be advantageous.
