Role Overview
We are looking for a competent and meticulous HR Technology Engineer to drive the configuration, upkeep, and advancement of our Workday Human Resource system. This position plays a vital role in ensuring system dependability, refining HR procedures, and supporting data-driven decision-making throughout the HR department. The successful candidate will be a pivotal partner to HR staff and business units, managing key Workday modules including HCM, Recruitment, Performance, Absence, and Time Tracking.
Key Responsibilities
- Tailor and configure the Workday platform to align with organizational HR requirements, including designing workflows, establishing security roles, and preparing reports.
- Carry out routine system maintenance, updates, and troubleshoot issues to maintain high performance standards.
- Deliver technical assistance to HR personnel and other system users to resolve inquiries and problems related to Workday.
- Organize training sessions aimed at enhancing user proficiency and adoption of the Workday system within the HR team and beyond.
- Manage employee data within Workday ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with data regulations.
- Create reports and visual dashboards to spotlight HR metrics such as turnover, staffing levels, recruitment status, and employee performance.
- Analyze HR data trends and gaps, proposing actionable insights related to recruitment, workforce retention, performance management, employee engagement, and strategic workforce planning.
- Identify and suggest improvements for HR processes and system functions to boost operational efficiency.
- Guarantee that the Workday system adheres to all internal policies, external legal standards, and regulatory bodies.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives that require Workday expertise.
- Offer specialized module support in areas like HCM, Recruitment, Performance, Absence, and Time Tracking.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration or a closely related discipline.
- At least three to five years of direct experience configuring and supporting Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) modules.
- Proven technical aptitude in customizing and managing Workday platforms complemented by outstanding problem-solving, communication, and organizational capabilities.
