About the Company and Role
Our client is a prominent real estate investment manager recognized for its extensive experience in debt and equity investments. Managing billions in assets for institutional clients, the firm has a longstanding reputation for successful investments and capital raising in the commercial real estate sector. As the business expands, they seek an Investor Relations Associate based in New York to engage closely with senior leadership, institutional investors, and the investment division, offering significant opportunities for career advancement in real estate investment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and distribute investor reports and performance documentation.
- Support the preparation of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), and other investor due diligence materials.
- Maintain and update the customer relationship management (CRM) system to ensure accurate and current investor and prospect data.
- Assist in designing and updating marketing presentations, pitchbooks, fundraising documents, and investment collateral.
- Manage investor communications and contribute to relationship management efforts.
- Coordinate logistics for investor meetings, annual gatherings, conferences, and fundraising events.
- Carry out market and competitor research to aid in business development activities.
- Collaborate closely with senior investor relations and fundraising teams on daily operations and strategic projects.
- Conduct various analytical tasks, respond to reporting requests, and support special assignments.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
- Between one to three years of relevant experience in investor relations, fundraising, asset management, private equity, real estate, investment banking, consulting, or financial services.
- Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.
- Strong attention to detail and superior organizational skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM software.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
- Genuine interest in real estate, private markets, and institutional investing.
- A collaborative, team-focused approach with enthusiasm for long-term career development.
