Job Details

We are seeking a Janitor responsible for comprehensive cleaning and upkeep of designated areas within one or multiple client buildings. Given that the janitorial duties vary, flexibility in fulfilling tasks as per client requirements is essential.

Work Schedule and Pay

• Full-time availability
• Positions available across all shifts
• Hourly wage: $13.00
• Payments issued weekly

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all types of floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
• Use chemical cleaners and power tools properly to avoid damage to floors and objects
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, meeting rooms, hallways, and entryways
• Dispose of trash correctly and utilize compactors when applicable
• Clean windows, glass dividers, and mirrors using suitable cleaning agents and tools
• Spot clean carpets and assist with deep cleaning methods such as carpet extraction and shampooing
• Restock paper items and sanitary products as needed
• Adhere to the established housekeeping schedule
• Operate heavy cleaning equipment occasionally, including floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers
• Complete other assignments as directed based on job scope or client needs

Candidate Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or minimum six months of janitorial work experience
• Willingness to participate in on-the-job training
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to understand and follow instructions carefully

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial roles
• Knowledge of custodial procedures and commercial cleaning standards
• Understanding of floor care techniques such as buffing and waxing
• Background in industrial cleaning or facility maintenance
