Role Overview
This position is for a full stack developer working on web applications built with Java on the back end and modern front-end frameworks such as Angular and React. The role is based in Hyderabad and sits within the Application Development and Maintenance service line.
Responsibilities
- Build, enhance, and support complete web applications using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and current front-end frameworks such as Angular and React.
- Create REST APIs and microservice-based components with attention to speed, security, and scalability.
- Develop responsive user interfaces and connect them smoothly to backend services.
- Work with product owners, architects, and QA teams to clarify requirements, estimate work, and deliver features in Agile iterations.
- Produce code that is clean, maintainable, well-tested, and aligned with coding standards and review practices.
- Deploy and integrate applications on AWS, using cloud-native services where relevant.
- Investigate issues, debug problems, and tune application performance and reliability across the stack.
- Take part in technical design and architecture discussions and suggest better approaches where needed.
- Support and mentor junior developers by sharing full stack and Agile best practices.
- Actively contribute to Agile rituals such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of practical experience in Java full stack development.
- Strong command of Java along with hands-on use of Spring and Spring Boot for backend work.
- Working experience with Angular and/or React for modern web interfaces.
- Experience delivering applications end to end, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Familiarity with Agile methods and working in Agile delivery teams.
- Good understanding of REST services, JSON, and web application architecture.
- Education should be from a bachelor’s or master’s degree background in Computer Science, IT, or a related area.
Educational Requirements
Accepted backgrounds include MCA, MCM, MSc, MTech, Bachelor of Engineering, BCA, BE, BSc, and BTech.
Eligibility
Applicants should hold a BCA, B.Sc, or B.Tech / B.E. degree in any specialization. The broader educational requirement also includes bachelor’s or master’s qualifications such as BTech, BE, ME, MCA, BCA, MSc, and BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
