Position Overview

We are seeking a Line Maintainer to join our Operations team at 600 Clarke Road, London, Ontario. This role operates on the Afternoon B Shift, from 2:40 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out production duties such as changing over lines, supplying and maintaining production lines, and troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Conduct and document test runs, product trials, and collect relevant data.
• Lead team meetings, guide line personnel, and provide training to new staff.
• Support initiatives for continuous improvement within the production process.
• Take part in the Journey to Excellence and Total Preventative Maintenance programs.
• Communicate and escalate production issues to management and other departments as needed.
• Adhere strictly to safety policies and procedures in the workplace.

Job Qualifications

• Completion of OSSD diploma or equivalent plus passing basic qualification tests.
• Capability to perform physical tasks safely, including repetitive pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Availability for overtime work and ability to function independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, effective troubleshooting, prioritization, and clear communication abilities.
• Willingness and ability to complete forklift certification training by McCormick.
• Experience with food packaging, filling lines, or similar environments is an advantage.
• Knowledge of SAP system is considered beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

• The base hourly wage is $24.22 plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential for this shift.
