About the Role

K. Hovnanian American Mortgage leverages over 65 years of excellence in the home building industry to provide unparalleled mortgage services exclusively to K. Hovnanian Homes' buyers. As a Mortgage Post Closer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth transition of closed loans by delivering them to investors, managing FHA case binder submissions to HUD, and collaborating with internal and external parties to resolve any outstanding documentation issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and deliver closed loan packages to multiple investors.
• Coordinate follow-ups with investors regarding package delivery and any outstanding suspense items.
• Process FHA case binders and submit them to HUD accurately.
• Identify and correct file discrepancies by working with the Closing team.
• Communicate with customers, closing attorneys, or agents to obtain missing documents.
• Manage scheduling to guarantee timely delivery of packages ensuring loans are purchased by investors within deadlines.
• Collaborate closely with Underwriters, Processors, Closers, and investors to ensure seamless loan delivery and funding.

Qualifications

• At least one year of relevant mortgage experience is mandatory.
• Familiarity with real estate and mortgage terminology is advantageous.
