Multi-Drop Delivery Driver (C Licence) - Athlone

About the Role

Join Ireland's leading foodservice provider as a Multi-Drop Delivery Driver based at the Athlone Depot. You'll be part of a passionate team serving numerous cafes, restaurants, and bars across the region, delivering orders with efficiency and excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver multiple drops of customer orders in Athlone and surrounding areas accurately and punctually.
• Provide outstanding customer service and address customer queries on the spot wherever possible.
• Complete all invoices and related paperwork promptly and thoroughly.
• Perform daily vehicle and load inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Comply with Basic Food Safety standards throughout delivery processes.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professionalism and attention.
• Operate proactively and safely within a fast-paced environment, maintaining high health and safety awareness.
• Achieve or exceed set standards for delivery accuracy.
• Report any damages, accidents, or issues related to Food Safety immediately.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid Full Category C Driving Licence.
• Possess a current Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) Card and a digital tachograph card.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Capable of orderly completion of documentation and routine problem-solving.
• Good organizational and prioritization abilities to meet deadlines.
• Leadership qualities to motivate self and others.
• Preferred: at least one year’s experience in Multi-Drop Deliveries.
• Desirable geographic knowledge and experience with temperature-controlled deliveries (training provided if necessary).

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary of €43,369.66 plus a tax-free subsistence allowance of €16.50 for each qualifying working day.
