Role Overview

We are seeking an early-career Full-Stack Engineer to join Confido’s New York office (relocation assistance available). In this position, you will assist in building new features and systems from inception, working alongside seasoned engineers. You will contribute to developing AI-empowered workflows, scaling data infrastructure, and crafting intuitive user experiences for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver product features across frontend and backend layers with team mentorship.
• Participate in backend system and data pipeline construction supporting financial data workflows.
• Contribute to AI-powered processes, including computer vision and natural language processing.
• Design user interfaces that simplify intricate financial operations.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams, product managers, and occasionally customers to refine features.
• Learn actively and progressively assume greater responsibility.

Example Assignments

• Building systems for extracting data from financial documents.
• Scaling ingestion processes from diverse data sources.
• Enhancing analytics and forecasting capabilities for CPG clients.
• Improving user experience to convert complex data sets into actionable insights.

Applicant Requirements

• Hands-on experience gained through internships, academic projects, or similar in software engineering.
• Solid understanding of programming concepts in any language.
• Interest in backend, full-stack, or AI-centered system development.
• Motivation to learn quickly, accept feedback, and develop professionally.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in backend software, API design, or data processing.
• Familiarity with artificial intelligence and machine learning ideas or technologies.
• Strong communication abilities with a collaborative mindset.
• Passion for startup environments and taking ownership in dynamic settings.
• Pursuing or holding a computer science degree or comparable experience.
