Overview
Join HCA Healthcare as an Office Administrator working from home, contributing to an organization recognized for its extensive community volunteerism and dedication to healthcare excellence. This role supports the field office by managing administrative, technical, and reception duties while facilitating human resources and employee relations functions under the guidance of the Director of Regional Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and corporate human resources regulations and guidelines, including JCAHO standards.
- Oversee pre-placement testing and annual clinical assessments for staff compliance.
- Manage employee credentialing and maintain required pre-placement qualifications.
- Utilize and maintain employee record systems such as Lawson and StaffPM for accurate data management.
- Coordinate new employee orientations and deliver or facilitate training and education programs.
- Administer benefits communication, especially during annual open enrollment periods.
- Address employee grievances and support conflict resolution where necessary.
- Implement and communicate updates to HR policies, procedures, and corporate directives to employees and vendors.
- Ensure fair labor standard adherence in compensation practices and process related requests in Lawson.
- Compile various employee reports and participate in HR conferences and audits as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- Strong decision-making skills and resilience under pressure.
- Capacity to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams.
- Conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Outlook; ability to learn new software.
- Workplace organization following environmental and safety standards.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED equivalent required; associate degree preferred. Applicants should have 1 to 2 years of experience in human resources preferred. No certifications or licenses required.
Physical and Work Environment
- Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds, frequent lifting up to 10 pounds.
- Prolonged sitting with occasional walking, standing, repetitive motions, and stretching.
- Visual and manual dexterity adequate for operating office equipment.
- Ability to perceive sound clearly at conversational levels and communicate information effectively.
