Key Responsibilities and Requirements
The ideal candidate must have a High School Diploma or GED certificate. Experience in handling medical insurance claims, managing referral procedures, and understanding various benefit plans is essential. Candidates should have at least one year of recent work experience within an outpatient clinic or medical office setting. Proficiency in interpreting and acting upon detailed verbal and written instructions is necessary.
Preferred applicants will bring over two years of recent experience as a Patient Service Representative. Familiarity with electronic health record systems like CS-Link or Epic is highly desirable, alongside a good grasp of medical terminology.
