About the team

The People and Inclusion function delivers HR advisory, recruitment, learning and development support across all KPMG New Zealand offices and business areas. The People Centre sits at the heart of these operations, partnering with HR Advisory, Learning, Talent & Mobility, Reward, IDE, ITS, Office Operations, Risk, Brand, Finance and Business Performance teams.

Role overview

As the People Centre Coordinator, you will help create a positive employee experience by delivering reliable people administration, maintaining accurate employee records, and supporting smooth and consistent people processes across the firm. This role is based onsite and is open to candidates located in Auckland, Tauranga or Christchurch.

Key responsibilities

  • Support a seamless employee journey by handling timely and accurate people administration throughout the full employee lifecycle and assisting with core people processes.
  • Maintain the quality and reliability of HRIS data so it remains current, compliant and useful for reporting and decision-making.
  • Contribute to process improvement work and service enhancement initiatives that simplify work and improve the experience for users and employees.
  • Work closely with the People Centre team to share knowledge, follow best practice, protect confidential information and provide responsive support to employees and stakeholders.
