Optimal is seeking a creative, strategic, and data-driven Performance Creative Designer to become a vital member of our dynamic creative team. This role is focused on the ideation, design, and execution of performance-based advertisements that generate measurable outcomes. Joining early in the development of our performance creative function, you'll collaborate closely with the creative lead to set standards and lead the delivery of high-impact ad concepts and flawless creative assets that boost clicks, conversions, and client success.

You'll play a key role in growing the creative team by mentoring colleagues and shaping departmental processes as we expand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and produce high-quality static images, animated GIFs, motion graphics, and video advertisements.
  • Adapt and design creatives expertly across all primary paid media platforms including Meta, TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube, Google Display Network, Connected TV, and Digital Out-of-Home advertising, understanding platform-specific specifications and user behaviors.
  • Maintain and enhance client brand guidelines to ensure all creative materials align with brand identity and marketing goals to drive traffic.
  • Communicate and evaluate creative needs alongside account teams, collaborating with creative strategists and account managers to define creative strategies, scopes, and timelines.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of creative projects autonomously, anticipating challenges and managing expectations to meet deadlines.
  • Monitor digital media trends including generative AI advancements and integrate these insights into creative decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of professional design experience preferably with paid media, performance marketing, or within an agency setting.

  • A portfolio showcasing performance-focused ad creation across various platforms demonstrating expertise in typography, layout, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro) and Figma.
  • Competent in video editing and crafting motion graphics concepts and executions.
  • Experience working with generative AI tools such as ElevenLabs, Sora, Veo, Chat-GPT Image Generation, and Adobe Firefly.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills capable of explaining design rationale clearly to internal teams and clients.

Working Hours and Location
