Role Overview
This position requires a professional individual with strong organizational abilities who can excel in a dynamic, fast-moving environment and adjust to shifting priorities. The role is essential to ensuring seamless data operations and timely delivery of client reports, enabling Operations and Consulting teams to provide high-quality insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and perform quality assurance on monthly and quarterly client report books derived from the internal pharmacy data warehouse.
- Assess data for accuracy and validate against key metrics provided by the Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM).
- Acquire skills to conduct pharmacy pricing guarantee reconciliations on quarterly and annual schedules.
- Navigate Lockton’s proprietary pharmacy data warehouse to produce routine and custom reports as requested by consulting teams.
- Create financial models and reports for clients and account executives, interpret analytical findings, and suggest actionable recommendations.
- Manage a specific client portfolio concerning marketing, claims, reporting, and administration activities.
- Monitor daily issues related to client pharmacy plans and support team members in resolving pending matters.
- Coordinate and update project timelines internally and externally for RFPs, renewals, reports, and other assignments.
- Interpret client contracts and pharmacy programs to identify gaps or recommend plan improvements, and maintain database records of contract terms.
- Contribute to the formulation of implementation strategies alongside consulting teams and clients.
- Review agreements and documentation to ensure best-in-class contractual provisions.
- Maintain client CRM systems with accurate and up-to-date information.
- Collaborate with the internal data operations team to uphold high data quality standards.
- Carry out additional duties as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline or equivalent insurance industry experience.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in employee welfare benefits or pharmacy data analytics within the insurance sector.
- Preferred familiarity with the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) sector.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service aptitude with the capacity to build and maintain relationships across multiple clients.
- Capability to liaise effectively with vendors.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- A proactive self-starter who also thrives in collaborative team settings.
- Authorization to work legally in the United States.
