Role Overview
The Process Technician role involves managing lots on hold, diagnosing and resolving in-line statistical process control issues, and supporting preventive and corrective maintenance qualifications to minimize equipment downtime. You will play a key part in maintaining process quality and standardization to support product and process industrialization. Additional responsibilities include performing process qualifications and trial evaluations for software review or split lots, ensuring comprehensive documentation and communication through passdown reports, and actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage lots placed on hold during processing.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot in-line statistical process control deviations and out-of-specification conditions.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance qualifications to ensure equipment operates within specifications and is promptly returned to manufacturing use.
- Support process quality maintenance and standardization efforts for product and manufacturing process industrialization.
- Conduct process qualifications and trial runs for software revision or split lot scenarios.
- Maintain detailed and clear passdown reports documenting all process and tool specifics along with corrective actions taken.
- Engage in and promote continuous process improvement projects.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of relevant technical certification in process engineering.
- At least two years of professional experience in semiconductor process engineering.
- A proactive, autonomous approach with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Strong communication and reporting capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
