Procurement Specialist

About the Role

Circle K, Ireland’s leading forecourt retailer, is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support its procurement operations by analyzing supplier performance, reviewing purchasing data, and managing supplier relationships. This role contributes to efficient, cost-effective sourcing aligned with business strategies, and oversees the administration of supplier agreements to foster strategic, sustainable partnerships that drive revenue and profit growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze trends and internal metrics such as purchase volumes, pricing, funding effects, supplier KPIs, and business proposals to create bid summaries and identify opportunities for improvement and recommendations.
• Understand various rebate frameworks including growth rebates, tiered incentives, and marketing support, and their impact on net costs.
• Develop detailed Excel models to facilitate negotiations, scenario analysis, and validate cost savings.
• Create scalable data transformations and structured datasets to guide commercial and operational decisions.
• Identify savings opportunities across multiple markets and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement measurable savings initiatives.
• Use Circle K’s financial analysis tools like Business Intelligence (BI) systems and external data sources such as AC Nielsen to generate category and supplier management reports regularly and on demand.
• Prepare comprehensive reports by collecting, formatting, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
• Maintain electronic documentation of Supplier Agreements and communications, ensuring proper contract management, procurement processing, and synergy reporting.
• Ensure data accuracy by coordinating with business units and procurement networks, participating in internal audits, and updating requested data changes.
• Drive change initiatives by questioning existing processes, conducting root cause analyses, and implementing effective process improvements.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of three years’ experience in procurement, supply chain, or procurement analytics roles.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
• Strong commercial insight, with the ability to dissect pricing into key cost drivers such as freight logistics, rebate structures, and total cost of ownership.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Microsoft Excel, Azure cubes, and SAP Ariba.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Location: Circle K Head Office, Beech Hill Office Campus, Belfield, Clonskeagh, Dublin 4, D04 Y016, Ireland.
• Working schedule: Full-time, 5 days a week, onsite.
