Position Overview

As a Produce Stocker at Walmart Canada in Saint John, New Brunswick, you will play a vital role in providing outstanding customer service, upholding Walmart's core values, and maintaining a fresh and well-organized produce department. Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all produce is accurately priced and properly signed, adhering to protocols for ordering, clearances, adjustments, labeling, and signage.
• Follow stringent food safety, sanitation, and cold chain procedures, including temperature monitoring and proper food handling, while complying with sell-by and expiration date guidelines.
• Manage merchandise stocking and downstocking efficiently, apply product protection when necessary, and set up modular displays such as flex modulars and shelf caps to maintain full inventory.
• Adhere to health and safety policies diligently to promote a safe and clean workplace environment.
• Remain flexible with scheduling, working various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business demands and ensure continuous, high-quality service.

Challenges in the Role

• Handle a high workload in a fast-paced environment with effective time and energy management, especially during overnight shifts.
• Complete large volumes of restocking and recovery tasks accurately and promptly.
• Perform physically demanding tasks such as standing long periods, bending, and lifting items typically up to 20 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Execute repetitive stocking, zoning, and organizing duties with consistent attention to detail to uphold store standards.

Compensation
