Overview
The Product Designer at Addin365 is responsible for shaping the user experience and visual design of software products that serve globally recognized brands. This role involves creating intuitive and appealing features aligned with customer needs while adhering to Microsoft and in-house design systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain UX design artifacts across a suite of products integrating Microsoft SharePoint, Teams, Azure, and web platforms.
- Produce detailed Figma designs and documentation that guide engineering teams and assist AI-driven software development processes.
- Collaborate closely with engineering to translate business requirements into effective, user-friendly solutions within an agile development lifecycle.
- Maintain and enhance design systems including reusable components, ensuring accessibility and responsiveness across devices.
- Participate in user research, prototyping, testing, and iterative refinement to improve design quality and functionality.
- Manage own workload and proactively address challenges to balance multiple priorities.
Qualifications and Skills
- 2 to 3 years of professional experience in product design, with ownership of design outcomes beyond UI creation.
- Proficient knowledge of information architecture, interaction design, and usability principles relevant to SaaS and web applications.
- Experience working within Microsoft design environments and a strong grasp of accessibility standards.
- Familiarity with Figma tools and features such as Dev Mode, MCP, Make, Code Connect, variables, design tokens, auto layout, components, and responsive design.
- Basic Photoshop skills including resizing, cropping, layering, and exporting assets.
- Understanding of HTML and CSS principles to inform design decisions that ensure semantic, accessible, and responsive user interfaces.
- Ability to advocate for user needs throughout the design process, define problems through research and data, and validate solutions effectively.
- Competent in creating detailed user journeys, documentation, and testing methodologies to produce user-centric designs.
- Experience integrating AI-assisted design workflows and producing designs optimized for AI-based engineering implementation.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with engineers and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Salary and Location
This full-time onsite position is based in London, England, with a salary range of £35,000 to £40,000 per year.
