Role Overview
The Project Coordinator is essential to Tate Europe's project management, ensuring smooth organization, execution, and communication across teams and stakeholders. This role involves end-to-end project planning and implementation with a sharp focus on timelines and process enhancement by introducing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to boost efficiency and reduce errors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer relationships comprehensively, taking ownership to deliver optimal results.
- Coordinate contracts with operations and production teams, adhering to critical deadlines and communicating updates promptly.
- Compile and analyze reports related to dispatch, stock levels, procurement, and production.
- Serve as the main contact for customer inquiries, orders, and manufacturing concerns.
- Engage in strategic procurement, exploring new suppliers and supporting long-term forecasting initiatives.
- Utilize tools like Power BI for margin analysis, contingency planning, and continuous process improvement.
- Lead initiatives in supplier engagement, customer complaint analysis, and setting performance targets.
- Develop and deploy planning tools and techniques to improve project outcomes.
- Champion the rollout of SOPs, conduct root cause analyses on project issues, and introduce best practices to strengthen project execution.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination within the project team and across departments.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in business or a related field.
- Proven experience in project administration or coordination, preferably within construction or manufacturing sectors.
- Strong proficiency in SAP or comparable ERP systems alongside advanced Excel and forecasting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills capable of managing complex customer and stakeholder interactions.
- A proactive approach with strong initiative, adaptable to shifting priorities.
