Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee renewable energy projects throughout Ireland. This role involves leading projects crucial to advancing Ireland's renewable energy infrastructure, working alongside commercial, engineering, and operations teams to ensure safe, timely, budget-compliant, and quality-focused project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee renewable energy projects from construction phases through completion and handover.
• Manage project schedules, financials, staffing, and overall project outcomes.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary groups spanning engineering, commercial, procurement, and site operations.
• Develop and sustain strong partnerships with clients, consultants, utilities, and stakeholders.
• Identify risks and apply mitigation strategies effectively.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms, timeline targets, and quality benchmarks.
• Conduct project meetings and deliver status reports to senior leadership and clients.
• Champion health, safety, environmental standards, and operational excellence.
• Support procurement processes, subcontractor oversight, and commercial decisions across project timelines.
• Foster continuous improvement in project delivery and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Proven track record managing major construction, civil engineering, or infrastructure projects.
• Background in renewable energy, power utilities, energy infrastructure, or large civil engineering ventures.
• Experienced leader of cross-functional project teams.
• History of delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Strong commercial insight managing client relations and contract requirements.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Flexibility to travel across Irish project sites as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related discipline.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, APM, or Chartered Engineer status are advantageous.
• Solid knowledge of construction contract frameworks and project governance.
• Experience managing renewable energy projects through to commissioning highly desirable.
• Proactive and collaborative leadership style with strong problem-solving skills.
