Overview
The Project Manager for Strategy and New Programs will be a pivotal contributor within Babilou Family US, a locally focused branch of a global early childhood education network. This full-time hybrid role based in New England supports the design, execution, and growth of strategic initiatives and new program offerings, partnering closely with the VP of Strategy & Innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage major strategic projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and delivering on-time results.
- Drive the creation and rollout of new programs such as after-school activities, summer camps, and childcare services tailored for employers.
- Coordinate with multiple departments including operations, marketing, sales, education, and finance to facilitate effective collaboration.
- Develop scalable program models and playbooks to enable consistent expansion across the Babilou network.
- Conduct research and analyze market and operational factors to inform program feasibility and growth.
- Oversee pilot initiatives and support their scaling across various schools and regions.
- Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and scalability.
- Contribute to strategic ventures like partnerships and new center launches.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and tools to support program replication.
- Provide leadership with routine updates on project status, risks, and potential opportunities.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Strategy, Project Management, Education, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 to 7 years’ professional experience in project management, strategy, consulting, or operations.
- Proven success managing complex cross-functional projects from inception through completion.
- Strong organizational abilities to juggle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Experience in multi-site service sectors such as education, childcare, hospitality, or retail is advantageous.
- Familiarity with launching new programs, products, or services is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Primarily office-based work with regular computer tasks.
- Frequent interactions with senior leadership, school administrators, and cross-departmental teams.
- Periodic visits to childcare facilities or program locations.
- Up to 30% local travel and up to 10% national travel expected.

Additional Information
The role is salaried, exempt from overtime, with an annual compensation range of $95,000 to $115,000 plus bonus potential. Employment is at-will, and AI tools may be used during recruitment to support, but not replace, human decision-making.
