Position Overview
We invite applications for a commercially savvy and proactive Property Manager to join Colliers’ leading team in Retail Property Management. This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of retail assets in Auckland, fostering strong client relationships, and enhancing the performance of dynamic city properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily management operations of a selected portfolio of retail or shopping center properties.
- Develop and sustain strong partnerships with clients, tenants, contractors, and other essential stakeholders.
- Handle tenancy affairs, including ensuring lease compliance and managing vacancies.
- Contribute to asset strategy planning and lifecycle management to support long-term performance.
- Collaborate effectively with leasing, marketing, and facilities teams to achieve targets.
- Engage in sustainability and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives across managed assets.
- Manage budgets, prepare reports, and monitor financial performance attentively.
- Ensure prompt and accurate rent collection and maintain financial accuracy.
Qualifications and Skills
- Documented experience in property management, preferably in commercial or retail sectors.
- Possession of or willingness to obtain a Real Estate Authority (REA) Salesperson’s certificate.
- Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and capability to balance competing priorities.
- Practical, solutions-driven mindset with solid commercial judgment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Positive, collaborative attitude and readiness to participate actively in team efforts.
