Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Python Backend Developer to join our client’s team on a contract basis. This remote position allows you to work from any location worldwide. The primary duties involve designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Python applications and backend systems that are scalable and performant.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain Python-based applications with a focus on high responsiveness and speed.
- Produce clean, efficient, and maintainable code aligned with industry best practices and standards.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineers and stakeholders to design, implement, and deploy new functionalities.
- Perform debugging, optimization, and troubleshooting to enhance system operations.
- Engage in code reviews, testing procedures, and documentation efforts to uphold quality deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years practical experience programming in Python.
- Hands-on experience using frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and familiarity with cloud services.
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and good software design principles.
- Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases and version control tools like Git.
