Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Singapore. This role involves performing product inspections, analyzing non-conformances, coordinating with teams and customers, and reporting on project statuses ensuring high standards in manufacturing quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze non-conforming products and provide appropriate disposition aligned with quality requirements.
• Conduct inspections and verifications of on-hold products visually or using measurement tools to assess quality issues.
• Collaborate closely with supervisors and team members to track project progress and ensure timely closures.
• Update customers regularly on the status of quality-related projects within your responsibility.
• Prepare and submit detailed reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Take an active role in internal team projects involving analysis and process improvements.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Degree in Electronics, Engineering, or a related discipline; relevant experience in electronics, semiconductor, or manufacturing industries preferred but entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong teamwork skills combined with effective communication abilities, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently under pressure with a strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with manufacturing problem-solving tools such as 8D, FMEA, and statistical methods like SPC is beneficial.
• Enthusiasm for acquiring new skills, systems knowledge, and analytical tools relevant to manufacturing operations.
