Quantity Surveyor (M&E)

Role Overview

Wah Loon Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for its mechanical and electrical works team in Singapore. The position focuses on tender preparation, quotation analysis, quantity take-off, and pricing support for projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare quotation packages, plans, and supporting documents for suppliers to use as the basis for pricing.
• Request, gather, compile, and assess quotations from suppliers and vendors in line with tender specifications.
• Build bills of quantities through quantity take-offs, material sourcing, measurement, and estimation of material and labour costs.
• Carry out detailed pricing breakdowns for tender submissions.
• Develop a clear understanding of tender scope, pricing schedules, and non-material requirements.
• Handle additional duties as assigned by the manager from time to time.

Requirements

• Diploma qualification in Quantity Surveying or Building Services.
• At least 2 to 3 years of experience in project tendering.
• Prior exposure to Design & Build tenders will be an advantage.
• Comfortable using MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.
