Role Overview
Wah Loon Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for its mechanical and electrical works team in Singapore. The position focuses on tender preparation, quotation analysis, quantity take-off, and pricing support for projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quotation packages, plans, and supporting documents for suppliers to use as the basis for pricing.
- Request, gather, compile, and assess quotations from suppliers and vendors in line with tender specifications.
- Build bills of quantities through quantity take-offs, material sourcing, measurement, and estimation of material and labour costs.
- Carry out detailed pricing breakdowns for tender submissions.
- Develop a clear understanding of tender scope, pricing schedules, and non-material requirements.
- Handle additional duties as assigned by the manager from time to time.
Requirements
- Diploma qualification in Quantity Surveying or Building Services.
- At least 2 to 3 years of experience in project tendering.
- Prior exposure to Design & Build tenders will be an advantage.
- Comfortable using MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.
