Role Overview
Tata Consultancy Services is looking for an experienced SAP PP Consultant based in Pune. This role focuses on SAP S/4HANA manufacturing programs and will involve implementation, improvements, and ongoing support across manufacturing and supply chain operations.
The right candidate should bring strong production planning expertise along with solid understanding of material planning, repetitive manufacturing, and how SAP PP connects with EWM, MM, QM, and sales-related processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to at least one complete SAP S/4HANA implementation lifecycle.
- Collect business needs and translate them into practical, scalable manufacturing solutions.
- Set up and support SAP Production Planning processes.
- Handle Production Orders, Planned Orders, Material Master data, Bills of Material, Routing, Work Centers, and Production Versions.
- Configure and maintain Material Requirements Planning and Long-Term Planning activities.
- Work with business teams to improve manufacturing and planning efficiency.
- Support SAP PP integrations with EWM, MM, SD, and QM.
- Partner with technical teams on interfaces and integration with non-SAP environments.
- Carry out configuration, testing, issue resolution, and production support tasks.
- Create functional specifications, supporting documentation, and handover materials.
- Assist during SIT, UAT, cutover, and hypercare phases.
Required Experience and Skills
- Hands-on experience in SAP PP with SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing.
- Background working in manufacturing settings.
- Strong working knowledge of Production Orders, Planned Orders, Material Master, BOM, Routing, Work Centers, and Production Versions.
- Deep expertise in MRP, LTP, and Repetitive Manufacturing.
- Working knowledge of PP-EWM, MM-EWM, SO-EWM, and QM-EWM integrations.
- Exposure to QIE, Inventory Management, Cycle Counting, Posting Changes, Blocked Stock Processing, Scrap Management, and Batch Management.
- Understanding of CIF and connectivity with non-SAP systems.
- Strong analytical ability with sound troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Self-motivated and outcome-focused approach.
Eligibility
Applicants should be any graduate and should have 6+ years of experience.
