Security Agent CCTV and Access Control

Role overview

This position supports airport security operations in Doha by monitoring CCTV, managing access control, and helping maintain a secure environment across the Airport Security Operations Centre and the terminal. The role also involves coordinating with contracted security staff, supporting incident response, and working with internal teams and external authorities to protect passengers, personnel, equipment, and airport property.

Key duties

• Perform security-related tasks inside the Airport Security Operations Centre and throughout the terminal.
• Ensure contracted security personnel are deployed correctly in the field and that required standards are consistently followed.
• Step in for the security supervisor when required, especially during airport incidents.
• Be ready to work at any station within the Airport Security Operations Centre or other operational areas as needed.
• Escalate security incidents to the Security Supervisor promptly.
• Review and follow up on investigations conducted by other agents, making sure the information is accurate and complete as directed by the Head of Security.
• Carry out CCTV surveillance from the Airport Security Operations Centre to detect any possible unlawful interference or security concerns.
• Keep regular communication with the Ministry of Interior, immigration contractors, Qatar Airways customers, and other airline stakeholders through meetings and ad hoc coordination to maintain strong protection standards.
• Coordinate with outside agencies and authorities on security matters affecting Hamad International Airport property through briefings and meetings.

Requirements

• A relevant vocational, technical, tertiary, or trade qualification.
• At least 3 years of experience in a job-related security role.
• Strong spoken and written English skills.
• Working knowledge of incident and reporting procedures.
• Understanding of airport security rules, law enforcement procedures, and how they are applied.
• Familiarity with IATA security principles and standards.
• Awareness of modern security systems and technology.
• Hands-on knowledge of CCTV systems and their use in security monitoring.
