Role Overview and Responsibilities
The Security Enablement Officer will be responsible for monitoring and managing various aspects of security operations including equipment, systems, alarms, local intelligence, incident management, employee assistance, ID badge and access control, and emergency coordination in partnership with client security teams and service partners.
- Embody Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence in all activities.
- Provide support during local events and security incident resolution while proactively identifying and reporting potential security threats to the relevant security teams.
- Serve as a liaison with the Global Security Command Centre (GSCC) to share incident information and assist with employee-related security concerns, facilitating two-way communication.
- Maintain detailed logs and prepare comprehensive incident reports relating to security events occurring during shifts.
- Respond promptly and effectively to critical incidents such as fire or violence.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure employee security support.
- Execute other assigned duties related to security operations.
Qualifications and Skills
Applicants should be graduates possessing strong communication skills and/or have at least two years' experience working in a Security Operations Centre (SOC) or a similar environment at a reputable organization. Certifications in GSOC/command centre operations, risk management, or crisis management are advantageous. Proficiency in security technology applications and advanced computer skills are essential.
- Capability to proficiently use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, including visual data presentation and concise report preparation.
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking) and local languages as applicable to the SOC location.
- Demonstrate discipline, punctuality, honesty, and the resilience to perform collaboratively and independently under pressure.
Working Conditions
- Regular use of computers.
- Occasional requirement to lift small objects and operate office equipment.
- Frequent periods of sitting, standing, or walking.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
