What you will do

• Apply advanced engineering knowledge to create effective solutions for heavy lifting and transport projects.
• Prepare and complete detailed engineering deliverables such as method statements, drawings, calculations, and risk assessments.
• Independently evaluate and confirm engineering approaches and equipment to support safe, efficient project delivery.
• Back project execution by monitoring engineering plans and adjusting solutions when site conditions or project needs change.
• Guide and support Engineers through technical mentoring while keeping control of the wider engineering scope.
• Share practical advice with Operations, Sales, and Project Management teams on feasibility, risk, and technical options.
• Make sure engineering records are correct, aligned with international requirements, reviewed properly, and kept up to date.

What is required

• Strong practical experience in engineering operations, working systems, heavy lifting and transport equipment, and internal codes and standards.
• Fluent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or another related technical field.
• Prior experience in a similar position, preferably within civil engineering, construction, renewables, oil and gas, offshore, ports, or mining.
• At least 4 years of relevant engineering experience, including work on advanced and complex solutions.
