Senior Full Stack Developer

Job Overview

We are actively searching for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our energetic team in Bengaluru. This role involves creating, developing, and sustaining high-quality web applications that support essential business operations in research & development, supply chain, and commercial functions within the pharmaceutical sector.

Core Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using React.js or Angular for front-end interfaces, and backend services built on Python frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, Django) or Node.js.
• Develop and utilize RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints; architect microservices to ensure scalability.
• Ensure UI/UX designs conform to responsiveness, accessibility standards (WCAG), and brand guidelines.
• Produce clean, testable, and well-documented code, including comprehensive unit and integration testing.
• Deploy and manage applications primarily on AWS cloud infrastructure, with Azure as an alternative.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage orchestration with Kubernetes or ECS.
• Utilize infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation for environment provisioning.
• Design and optimize data storage solutions using relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Integrate securely with internal APIs, enterprise systems, and external third-party services.
• Build event-driven architectures leveraging messaging systems such as Kafka or AWS SQS/SNS.
• Participate in Agile processes including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
• Perform code reviews, enforce coding standards, and promote best security practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge transfer within the team.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, UX designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Qualifications and Expectations

• Degree in Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.) in any discipline from a Tier 1 college.
• Strong accountability, planning capabilities, and ability to collaborate with technical leads and architects.
• Proven experience delivering full-stack production projects end-to-end.
• Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum team environments with self-motivated and responsible work ethic.
• Experience with cloud-native architecture and CI/CD implementations.

Preferred Experience

• Background working within pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
• Familiarity with Generative AI integration, including building solutions using large language model APIs or embedding AI functionalities.
• Exposure to observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, and ELK Stack for application monitoring and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities, data encryption, and compliance with frameworks like GxP and SOX.
