Senior Interior Designer

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join our team in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. This role involves direct client interaction, comprehensive design and planning, material selection, project coordination, and site supervision to deliver functional and aesthetically pleasing interior solutions within budget.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, lifestyle, and financial constraints.
• Conduct precise site inspections and measurements to inform design plans.
• Prepare and present design proposals, including mood boards, color schemes, 2D layouts, and 3D visualizations.
• Design various interior components such as kitchens, wardrobes, TV units, false ceilings, and lighting installations.
• Select appropriate materials like laminates, fabrics, tiles, countertops, wallpapers, lighting fixtures, and accessories while coordinating with suppliers to obtain samples and quotations.
• Assist in drafting Bills of Quantities and manage budgets with an emphasis on cost-effective solutions without sacrificing quality.
• Work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and various contractors to ensure smooth execution aligned with approved designs.
• Supervise ongoing projects through regular site visits, quality inspections, and timely resolution of any issues arising during implementation.
• Ensure client approvals are secured at each project phase and keep clients informed of progress and any design changes.
• Maintain detailed documentation including design files, drawings, BOQs, and material schedules.
• Demonstrate proficiency in essential design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max with V-Ray or Enscape/Lumion, Photoshop, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Keep abreast of emerging trends, materials, and technologies in interior design and propose innovative solutions to clients.

Additional Information

Salary: INR 20,000 to 30,000 per month
