Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with a Master's degree in Architecture and 10 to 20 years of professional experience, including hands-on construction administration either in-house or agency-based. You will lead the New Museum Opening (NMO) initiative from initial kickoff through final turnover, managing diverse teams and multiple departments to ensure successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct project planning, execution, and delivery across the Development department.
• Guarantee adherence to contractual obligations, budget limits, and scheduled timelines.
• Lead project teams including consultants and contractors to accomplish project objectives.
• Develop and maintain an automated, data-driven project tracking system employing AI and modern software tools to monitor budgets, workflows, and dependencies.
• Create comprehensive project plans detailing timelines, milestones, and resource distribution.
• Track progress and performance, implementing remedial measures to correct deviations.
• Manage stakeholder communications regularly, promptly addressing concerns.
• Prepare and review extensive project documentation including contracts, budgets, change orders, and reports with strong data analysis support and AI utilization.
• Identify project risks proactively and resolve issues to minimize impact on schedules and outcomes.
• Encourage and facilitate cross-department collaboration and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Architecture is required.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification mandatory.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 80%, including significant assignments in Orlando and Los Angeles.
• 10-20 years' extensive experience in architecture and construction administration.
• Expertise in managing projects through conceptual design to occupancy and turnover phases.
• Proven experience coordinating with architects, general contractors, designers, and operational teams while managing budgets and stakeholder relationships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Procore, Primavera, and ability to interpret Rhino models.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with strong organizational capabilities and familiarity with Google Workspace and project management platforms.
• Capacity to balance strategic oversight with direct execution, managing multiple priorities effectively.
• Skill in making sound, data-based decisions aligned with business goals.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in-house or at an architecture/design agency.
• Familiarity with ArcGIS software.
• Experience delivering immersive entertainment projects, themed attractions, museums, or experiential retail environments.
• Track record in creating or improving project workflows, operational processes, or delivery pipelines.
• Strong AI literacy, including leveraging AI tools for improving design, documentation, project management, or operational efficiency.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex challenges creatively.
• Comfort with questioning current procedures and driving continual improvements.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with enthusiasm for innovation and experimentation.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range from $150,000 to $170,000 annually, dependent on experience.
